Many Thought the Gaza Ceasfire Celebrations Were Premature. The IDF is Responding to Hamas Violation of the Ceasefire.

October 19, 2025October 19, 2025

Should any of us have expected anything else?

Hamas applies deception and deceit as a religiously sanctioned thing. The failure of the ceasefire at this moment was more than predictable.

The celebrations over the Gaza ceasefire and a peace initiative were premature.

Included in Hamas’s religiopolitically sanctioned objectives, and their Covenant, is killing Jews, where it also clearly states they can never have peace with Israel.

And deception and deceit in situations like this, in war, are religiously sanctioned and encouraged in scriptures. Don’t trust treaties from Islamist terrorists.

(Hamas’s objectives are related to their being Islamist and global Jihadists; it’s not just Israel, it’s a global view.)

Meanwhile, Hamas, PIJ, and the PFLP, in a joint statement on October 10, 2025, said they will “Continue With The Resistance In All Its Forms”. So what part of this was everyone missing?

MEMRI reports that “In sum, the factions stressed that they have no intention of laying down their weapons, and that they plan to continue military activity to achieve their objectives.”

Hamas, PIJ and PFLP had signed a memorandum to continue terrorizing Israel after the ceasefire agreement.

Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) published a joint statement stressing that they intend to continue terror attacks against Israel after the ceasefire.

The statement, which came the day after U.S. President Donald Trump announced that an agreement had been reached on the first stage of a ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip, opened by emphasizing: “We emphasize our determination to continue with the resistance in all its forms until our rights are achieved – first and foremost the removal of the occupation, [Palestinian] self determination, and the establishment of an independent [Palestinian] state with full sovereignty with Jerusalem as its capital.”

Agreements are only as good as the signatories want them to be. When dealing with Islamofascist supremacist anti-Jewish entities, be careful.

I always think of Chamberlain and the 1938 Munich Agreement. Back from his aircraft shuttle diplomacy — a first– with the agreement signed by Hitler and Mussolini, he later, outside 10 Downing Street, said:

“My good friends, this is the second time in our history that there has come back from Germany to Downing Street peace with honour. I believe it is peace for our time.”

Note that Chamberlain was dealing with Hitler, a man who (along with Rudolf Hess) created a Utopian ideology, from which they were fanatically self-righteous, ergo whatever they did or would do was just and righteous. (Utopian ideologies, such as Islamism, and groups like Hamas, history shows us, tend to be very dangerous.)

Less than a year later, World War II broke out.

🔴Fox News: Israel says Hamas violated ceasefire with ‘multiple attacks’ leading to IDF response

Israel says Hamas launched RPG and sniper attacks on Israeli forces beyond agreed withdrawal line

`The Israeli military conducted strikes against Hamas in Gaza after accusing the terrorist organization of repeatedly violating its ceasefire agreement on Sunday.

An Israeli military official confirmed the strikes to Fox News on Sunday, pointing to attacks by Hamas since Friday. The IDF later confirmed that it was taking actions in Gaza.

“Earlier today, terrorists fired an anti-tank missile and gunfire toward IDF troops operating to dismantle terrorist infrastructure in the Rafah area, in southern Gaza, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement,” the IDF said in a statement.

“In response, the IDF has begun striking in the area to eliminate the threat and dismantle tunnel shafts and military structures used for terrorist activity,” it continued.

Israel has responded by striking areas in the north and south of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office says he has instructed the minister of defense and other security heads to “act forcefully” in reaction to the attacks.

Hamas claims it has “no knowledge” of any attacks against Israeli forces, releasing a statement on Sunday saying they were still abiding by the terms of the agreement.

“We affirm our full commitment to implementing everything that has been agreed upon, foremost among which is the ceasefire in all areas of the Gaza Strip. We have no knowledge of any events or clashes taking place in the Rafah area,” the group wrote.

“We have no connection to any events occurring in those areas, nor can we communicate with any of our fighters there if any of them remain alive,” it added.

The reported attacks on Israeli troops comes after Hamas spent days fighting Palestinian rival groups after the ceasefire went into effect.

According to Reuters, Hamas executed at least 33 people in recent days in what officials described as a campaign to “show strength” after the ceasefire. Israeli sources say most of those killed belonged to families accused of collaborating with Israel or supporting rival militias.

The U.S. Department of State on Saturday warned on Saturday that Hamas may break the peace agreement with a “planned attack” on Palestinian civilians.

“This planned attack against Palestinian civilians would constitute a direct and grave violation of the ceasefire agreement and undermine the significant progress achieved through mediation efforts,” the department said in a statement on social media. “The guarantors demand Hamas uphold its obligations under the ceasefire terms.”

“The United States and the other guarantors remain resolute in our commitment to ensuring the safety of civilians, maintaining calm on the ground and advancing peace and prosperity for the people of Gaza and the region as a whole,” the statement continued.

President Donald Trump warned Hamas on Friday that continued attacks on Palestinians would force the U.S. and Israel to intervene.

“If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them,” he wrote on X.
