A friend and colleague of mine took this photograph while on a certain task as a Close Protection (CP) operative in an African country, where we were working.
Perhaps because I know my colleague in the photo well, and because many of us, including me, had been on this same task, I found this photo quite funny.
It speaks to what CP and security work can be like sometimes, i.e. boring.
Again, many of us ended up on this same task, sitting uncomfortably in our suits in that elevator hallway outside the office with no AC. Fortunately, having to sit in that area didn’t last.
