Romanian Horațiu Potra’s PMC men, i.e. mercenaries, have ended their contract and not on their terms. I wonder if the DRC could get a refund? 😁

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) announces that it has convened the Inter-institutional Crisis Cell after the deterioration of the situation in Congo, where several Romanian citizens, private employees of the government of this country, are located. “The acute deterioration of the security situation has blocked the group of Romanian citizens who were working in the area, based on a private contract, especially in the city of Goma,” the MAE says, specifying that it is taking steps to ensure that they are not in danger and for their evacuation, News.ro reports.
From what is a pro-M23 outlet, “Kivu News” had reported earlier that, “Today close to 300 Romanian mercenaries who have been hiding in the Monusco HQ are crossing from Goma to Rubavu – they have been granted safe passage and will proceed to Kigali where they will fly back to Romania.”

**As a side, I’ll bet that among the M23 rebels are Rwandans of the Rwandan army covertly pretending to be rebels. Also, just looking at the rebels, you can see they are well-equipped.
