So, where are the protests in the streets? Where is the public outrage? Obviously, these HTS fighters, including Chechen, Indonesian and Uyghur volunteers– consider that the Uyghur who are persecuted in China helped carry out this massacre of Alawites in Syria– have carried out these mass killings in retribution for Assad’s regime (as Assad and his family were Alawite and favoured the Alawite community), their ongoing resistance to the HTS, and because HTS Islamists see the Alawites as heretics.
Christians are being targeted as well– see CBN video and dicussion.
Note: Christians are the most persecuted religion in the world today, and the ancient Christian communities of the Levant, since the Arab Spring, are a fraction of what they used to be.
Interim Syrian president Sharaa claims that they will investigate those responsible. Let’s see.
About the HTS and Sharaa, who is a former AQ and ISIS member, while the West and the world cozy up to Sharaa… well… As I’ve been saying, “Islamist is as Islamist does”.

Addendum: I think I should mention that I find it rather interesting that there are not a lot of reactions to posts that report Islamist persecutions or atrocities, such as massacres and mass beheadings (e.g. in the DRC) on Christians or other minorities, e.g. Alawite. -RdM
