There are reports that the FLA ambush cost Mali security forces and the Africa Corps (TAC) PMC dearly.
Sources say there were:
• 5 vehicles taken
• 8 trucks destroyed
• 2 armored vehicles destroyed
• 1 Mi-24 destroyed on land
• 1 Mi-24 hit in the air and crashed into the Niger River
• 5 Africa Corps members captured
If the reports are accurate, that means the recent videos of TAC Mi-24s flying around Mali hitting targets to the tune of a Nirvana song, are no longer active.

While there are reports that came out on 13th of June of an FLA ambush on Mail Security Forces and the Russian PMC The Africa Corps (TAC), the Russians appear to be quiet about the attack. I guess it’s a bad look that with their big official launch as The Africa Corps, they right away got hit hard by FLA. (A moment ago, I posted a video of FLA with captured and destroyed vehicles from the attack, along with a list of what sources say is what the Russians lost. The list includes the two Mi-24s, if true. SEE:

The Africa Corps Russian PMC has officially and technically taken over the Mali contract, i.e. the same Wagner contract that they’ve been running since Progizhin’s demise, which happens to be the same people running the Mali operation when those Russian PMCs and the Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) were ambushed and decimated by the FLA back in July last year, re: the Battle of Tinzaouaten’: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/royce-de-melo-39172813_mali-fla-azawadliberationfront-activity-7339740113788092417-zW1A?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAALG3h0BmCuAbEV3iAYJNZHCQ1bHqD_qO9k
