Former Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Shtayyeh Let’s the Cat Out of the Bag About Hamas, Deception, Peace and No Peace…

August 12, 2025August 14, 2025

There have been, de facto, two separate Palestinian states/entities since 2007, i.e. the West Bank and Gaza. So, this is rich coming from the former PA Prime Minister Shtayyeh, to say Hamas should go under the PLO’s wing, considering that the PLO’s armed wing, Fatah, had fought Hamas for control of Gaza during and since 2005 to 2007, and that they are fundamentally enemies.

The 5-day Palestinian civil war called the Battle of Gaza (10–15 June, 2007), had Hamas victorious, putting Hamas unilaterally in control of Gaza as a separate state from the PA / PLO in the West Bank ever since.

After the Battle of Gaza, Fatah supporters were murdered, thrown off buildings, tortured, had their legs broken, etc. Palestinians killing Palestinians.

Also, what Shtayyeh is saying is tantamount to revealing a devious plan to have Hamas- a recognized terrorist organization- embedded in its organization, but hidden away, to influence from below while working together to apply Hamas agendas and policies to Palestinian policies secretly.

He said that the PLO and Hamas would be “united in peace and in war”. This sounds like a long-term war plan. Deception is scripturally sanctioned (re: make peace when needed and fight, and break treaties, when in a better or stronger position to fight). A lasting peace is not the goal. After all, Hamas’s ideology and policies openly state that there is never to be peace with Israel, that peace is unacceptable. What makes Hamas dangerous is that they are self-righteous and sanctimonious supremacists.

But most of all, the fact that Shtayyeh praises the October 7 savagery tells us everything we need to know and understand about where he and the Palestinians are coming from. Shtayyeh is morally bankrupt. Again, these are self-righteous and sanctimonious supremacists who believe in violence, in hate, in rape as a weapon of war, in hostage taking as a weapon, in ethnic cleansing, in real genocide… Anyone who defends and makes excuses for October 7 is morally bankrupt.

Islamist supremacists see things one way; they believe they are scripturally sanctioned to do the sorts of atrocities that they did on October 7, but at the same time, no one else is allowed to do the same to them. The rules apply to only one side. It’s mafia-like conduct.

Recognizing a Palestinian State

Canada, the UK, France and Australia have expressed their intent to recognize the state of Palestine in September at the UN. This is a big mistake. It’s misguided, short-sighted, and ignores the reality of the situation and the socio-political culture.

First, recognizing a Palestinian state is tantamount to rewarding Hamas for their terrorism and malice, for the anti-civilization savagery of October 7. And in no way will it end the hate, the mainstream anti-semitism, the conflict and tensions with Israel. Nor will recognizing a state end the hate and division within the Palestinian people themselves, within the militant groups; it will not stop political rivalries from within the Palestinians from turning into violence. The risks and variables that could lead to more conflict, not only with Israel but within the enclaves among the Palestinians themselves (i.e. civil war, coup d’etat) will persist.

The fact that the two enclaves have been two separate Palestinian-governed entities/states since 2007 is a future risk factor; with the recognition of a Palestinian state, with self-governance, again, one enclave might split from the central government. My point? Don’t be surprised that if a Palestinian state is recognized, and ends up in civil war (be it exclusively inside the West Bank or Gaza or both) and/or is once again led by a terrorist entity government or governments hell bent on war.

Meanwhile, understanding that, as the NYT reports, “the Israeli cabinet on Friday signed off on Mr. Netanyahu’s latest proposal for the Israeli military to take over Gaza City. The cabinet also stipulated that Hamas’s main rival, the Palestinian Authority, not administer postwar Gaza,” does this mean that a Palestinian state will or will not include Gaza, according to Canada, the UK, France and Australia? If recognition includes Gaza, do these Western nations not see the complications already developing?

And how would Canada, the UK, France, etc, stop unsavoury parties from being in government and/or participating in elections (such as a rebranded Hamas, or other parties with war-footing policies) once the state is recognized? They can’t! What the Palestinians do in their independent country or even as a non-recognized state will be for them to decide, and little can be done about it. When the terrorist organization Hamas participated in elections in Gaza in 2005, elections that they won, no one stopped them from running, the PA didn’t stop them, and this happened without having a recognized state of Palestine. The end result of Hamas’s participation in those elections was violence, civil war, and an independent, self-governing, Islamofascist genocidal regime governing the enclave with a war agenda, a no-peace agenda, guided by a covenant that called for the extermination of Jews and the destruction of Israel. And so we have October 7 which started this massive war.

Do the leaders of Canada, the UK, France and Australia really think recognizing a country called Palestine will be the solution for peace? Do they think that by recognizing a Palestinian state it will end a deeply seated, culturally ingrained religiopolitical ideology and agenda that believes in global Jihad, practices a divinely sanctioned deception, with their first order to destroy Israel, kill Jews, and then to go on from there spreading Islam worldwide? Apparently so. These are the policies guided by virtue signaling, selective morals idiots, sociopaths and some anti-Israel types.

And now that Israel will likely govern Gaza for a while once this war ends, how will recognizing a Palestinian state be a solution to what will become a very complicated situation?

The Taliban emerged victorious in Afghanistan and firmly believe that their country will be and is a staging area for global Jihad, to conquer the world for Islam. This is policy.

Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Shtayyeh is telling us openly their direct and indirect long term plans, with or without Hamas in the mix.

Culture eats strategy for breakfast!

➤ Former Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh said in a July 29, 2025 interview on the Mazeej Podcast by Al-Arabiya Network (Saudi Arabia) that Hamas’s October 7, 2023 invasion and massacres in southern Israel were a “courageous” and “unprecedented” operation that were an “important crossroad in the history of the Palestinian struggle,” but that its ultimate result should also be inspected. He said that this “adventure” should have taken consequences into consideration, and he criticized Hamas for not having taken the citizens of Gaza into consideration, explaining that October 7 was “miscalculated.” Later in the interview, he said that the PLO wants to reach an agreement with Hamas about the Palestinians’ ultimate goals, and that the Palestinians should be united in peace and in war under the leadership of the sole representative of the Palestinian people, the PLO. He added that Hamas is welcome to become part of the PLO and to change its political platform from within.
